Background
Coaching and running is my passion. I do it because I love the sport and the community which surrounds it. I have dedicated the past decade to not only studying human anatomy and physiology, but also the psychology which makes us motivated to achieve our goals and how the endocrine system affects that drive and motivation. I am a resource for you to reach your goals.
I coach with heart rate and require my athletes train with a Garmin device to track HR, mileage, volume, etc.
I DO NOT believe in a cookie cutter approach. I build my plans only one to two weeks out at a time. I DO believe in recovery and balance. I DO NOT place limits on emails, phone calls, and texts as other coaches do. To be successful I need to know what's happening in your life. I need to get to know YOU. I will be personally vested in YOU. Your success is a direct reflection upon me and I want your success.
Nutrition is a vital piece of running success, therefore I will help with you with nutrition as well. I will target your caloric needs on race day and teach you what creates GI distress in long distance events and we will work together to find what works for YOU. I understand every body is different.
Pricing
I charge $155 for the first month of coaching. This involves getting your Garmin page set-up and it accounts for the high demands on time the first month requires. The second month and every month thereafter is $125. Search online for other coaches that offer nutrition advice along with unlimited access and you'll find the costs are nearly double to triple to what I offer. I believe however, that there is only ONE way to coach to ensure success and that is working holistically with my athletes and having unfettered access to one another. Coaching is not my main source of income. I do this because I want to, not because I have to. I am not dependent on your money. This helps ensure I only have clients that can benefit from my time and services.
Waiting List
I keep a waiting list when I am over 15 clients. Please contact me to reserve a spot should you be interested. I also work with some triathletes who use my coaching services for half the year and race triathlon the other half. I prefer to keep my clients for at least 6 months since so much of my work is teaching the psychology of successful training and the methods of building a training plan, we need to work closely for at least six months for you to truly benefit.
